Pursuant to art. 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), this document provides information on how Michele Rizzo Law Firm processes the personal data of users visiting the site www.michelerizzolaw.com (the “Website”).

Art. 1 Data Controller and Data Protection Officer
The Data controller of the personal data of identified natural persons that the Website may process is Michele Rizzo, with registered address in Piazzale Giulio Cesare 9, Milan (Italy) (hereinafter also the “Owner”).
The Data controller can be contacted by e-mail at milano@michelerizzolaw.com.
The Data Controller’s law firm has not appointed a Personal Data Protection Officer (RPD or, data protection officer, DPO).

Art. 2 Definitions
Unless otherwise indicated, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
a) “Personal Data“: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, collected even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including the Navigation Data;
b) “Navigation Data“: the data collected automatically from the Website include: IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users visiting the Website, the time of the connection request, the method used for submitting the request to the server, the returned file size, the numerical code relating to server response status (successfully performed, error, etc.), the country of origin, the characteristics of the Internet Browser and the operating system used by visitor, the name of the network used (where present), the time dimension of the visit (for example the time spent on the Website or on each page), the navigation path followed within the Website (including the sequence of pages consulted and the possible frequency of abandonment), the search string (that is the key words) used to identify the site address;
c) “Interested“: the natural person to whom the personal data refers;
d) “Visitor” or “User“: the natural person who visits the Website and accesses one or more pages of it;
e) “Data processing“: any operation or complex of operations, carried out without the aid of electronic tools, concerning the collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, cancellation and destruction of data, even if not recorded in a database;
f) “Contents“: any data, message, or, more generally, any file entered by the authors and / or collaborators of the Website or any message from the system administrator;
g) “Internet Browser“: any program that allows you to explore the Internet, through the network protocols provided by the operating system and appropriate API (Application Programming Interfaces), allowing, thus, the visualization of the pages of the Site and the interaction with it;
h) “Cookie“: any program composed of small text files sent from a server to a Web client (usually a browser) and then sent back from the client to the server each time the client accesses the same server and is used to perform automatic authentication, session tracking and storage of specific information, for example, those concerning users accessing the server, such as favorite websites.

Art. 3 Purpose of data processing
3.1 The Owner treats Personal Data of Users, including those voluntarily provided by them or via messages sent through the contact form on the Website, exclusively for communicating with the User concerning the analysis of the request and / or question and / or problem indicated by the User and the subsequent response by e-mail and / or by other means of contact indicated by the User.
3.2 Personal Data are processed using computer tools and / or technologies for the period of time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
3.3 The Website may use some types of cookies. In particular, the Website uses session cookies, whose function is limited to the transmission of navigation data necessary to ensure efficient navigation. Other types of cookies, or similar technologies, may be used from time to time to allow use of the Website or specific features. Some persistent cookies may be used in order to trace the language used by the user’s computer system, which can in any case be deactivated at any time. They are not used cookies for the acquisition and transmission of personal identification data of users or tracking cookies. For session data and data strictly necessary for the operation of the Website, the conferment is necessary and does not require the consent of users. Failure to provide these data may eventually make it impossible to browse the site.

Art. 4 Mandatory or optional nature of the provision of data
4.1. For the purposes of using the Website and displaying the Contents contained therein, it is not necessary to process the User’s Personal Data and it is therefore not necessary to acquire your prior consent.
4.2 With regard to the processing of the Navigation Data, the User is informed of the right to disable the Cookies on his Internet Browser if he does not intend to give his consent to the processing of the aforementioned Navigation Data by the Owner, provided that the disabling of the aforementioned Cookies could affect, in whole or in part, the use of the Website by the User. For more information on the deactivation and setting of cookies, Users may consult the “Help” section of their Internet Browser or follow the procedures specifically provided for by the latter.
4.3 We also inform the User that, in any case, sending a request for contact through the form in the contact section implies acceptance of this information. In case of non-acceptance, it will not be possible to send the direct contact request.

Art. 5 Dissemination of Personal Data
5.1 The Data controller will not proceed, under any circumstances, to the communication of the Personal Data of the User that may be collected, including the Navigation Data to third parties, in the absence of the written consent of the User.
5.2 Notwithstanding the art. 5.1, the User’s Personal Data, including the Navigation Data, may in any case be communicated by the Owner to third parties, even without requesting the User’s consent, exclusively where this becomes necessary for the judicial or administrative authorities to fulfil their legal obligations.

Art. 6 Rights of the User
6.1 According to the GDPR, the User has the right:
• to ask the Owner to access his personal data and information relating thereto; the correction of inaccurate data or the integration of incomplete data; the cancellation of personal data (in case of one of the conditions indicated in article 17, paragraph 1 of the GDPR occurs and in compliance with the exceptions provided for in paragraph 3 of the same article); the limitation of the processing of his personal data (upon the use of one of the hypotheses indicated in article 18, paragraph 1 of the GDPR);
• to request and obtain from the Data controller – in cases where the legal basis of the treatment is the contract or consent, and the same is done by automated means – his personal data in a structured and machine-readable format, also in order to communicate such data to another data controller (so-called right to the portability of personal data);
• to oppose at any time the processing of his personal data when particular situations concerning the User occur;
• to revoke the consent at any time, limited to the cases in which the processing is based on his consent for one or more specific purposes and concerns common personal data (for example date and place of birth or place of residence), or particular categories of data (e.g. data revealing the racial origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health status or sex life). The treatment based on consent and carried out prior to the revocation of the same preserves, however, its lawfulness;
• to file a complaint to a supervisory authority (Authority for the protection of personal data – www.garanteprivacy.it).
6.2 The exercise of these rights towards the Data controller may be exercised by the interested parties by sending an email to the address indicated in art. 1.

Art. 7 Changes to the Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be subject to periodic updates.
