Michele Rizzo is a lawyer and legal advisor registered with the Bar Association of Milan and deals mainly with Administrative Law, Business Law and Real Estate Law. In particular, he provides legal assistance and advice in relation to these matters in favor of private individuals, public bodies and above all, Italian and foreign companies (including startups).

In 2016, he founded the Law Firm Michele Rizzo, with the intend to bring his considerable experience in the field of legal advice to companies, gained by virtue of prior collaboration with (i) the international law firm Bettini Formigaro Pericu (offices in Milan and Genoa), (ii) the law firm of Prof. Antonio Bartolini (Perugia), (iii) the international law firm Grimaldi e Associati (based in Brussels, Belgium) and (iv) with the Italo-Greek Chamber of Commerce in Athens (Greece).

Michele graduated in law at the University of Perugia, with first class honours, in 2009, discussing a thesis in Administrative Law (supervisor Prof. Antonio Bartolini).

Also in 2009, as part of the international mobility project for students “Erasmus Placement”, he spent a semester at the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) of Athens (Greece), where he studied aspects of Administrative Law and European Union’s Law relating to environment and Community funding sector.

In 2011 he obtained a Postgraduate diploma in Law and Political Institutions of the European Union from SEU – Umbria Europe Services in Perugia, while in 2015 he attended the Post-graduate course in European Court litigation (Court of Justice of the European Union and European Court of Human Rights) of the University of Milan.

In addition, Michele holds a Postgraduate diploma in Business Law from Bocconi University of Milan (2016- 2017), that helped him acquire further theoretical and practical knowledge on legal- economic issues related to the daily life of companies.

Currently, Michele conducts research at the European Law and Governance School (ELGS) of Athens, dealing with issues of Energy Law and, in particular energy efficiency, and collaborates with Milan Polytechnic, Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, for the organization of the Master program in “Public Procurement and Public Contracts”.

Previously, he was a teaching assistant of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Perugia (chair of Prof. Antonio Bartolini).
